The INFQ Rising Stars Development Camp is a separate development opportunity that takes place after the Junior State Championships. Throughout the Championships, INFQ selectors identify talented U8 and U10 players from all participating teams across Queensland and invite them to attend the Rising Stars camp.

Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Rising Star?

Bayside Blaze is proud to nominate players for the Indoor Netball Federation Queensland (INFQ) Rising Stars Development Program. This is seperate to the Junior State Championships and is a process where players are selected during the competition.

The Rising Stars Program provides talented young athletes with the opportunity to further develop their skills under the guidance of experienced coaches and high-performance development staff. Players selected into the program will participate in specialist coaching sessions designed to enhance their netball knowledge, technical skills, game awareness, fitness and overall development.

What Happens Next?

Following nominations and the selection process during the Junior State Championships, successful players will be invited to attend the INFQ Rising Stars Development Camp which will take place over the Summer School Holidays.

Players attending the camp will:

  • Receive advanced coaching and skill development.
  • Learn from experienced state and national level coaches.
  • Develop game awareness, teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Be observed for future representative opportunities.

Queensland Rising League Team Selection

Outstanding athletes attending the Rising Stars Development Camp may be selected into the Queensland Rising League Team, providing an exciting opportunity to represent Queensland and continue their representative pathway.

Players selected will demonstrate:

  • Strong sportsmanship and attitude.
  • Coachability and willingness to learn.
  • Consistent effort and commitment.
  • Sound netball skills and game awareness.
  • Potential for future development.

Nomination

Players wishing to be considered should complete the nomination form by the advertised closing date. This will be organised and submitted by your teams Manager.

Please note that submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection into the Rising Stars Development Camp, players are selected over the 3 day Junior State Championships.
