Bayside Blaze is a junior indoor netball club based out of Victoria Point Action Indoor, bringing together young players from across Brisbane's Bayside region.

Competing in the INFQ Junior State Championships, Bayside Blaze provides players with the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence and be part of a supportive team environment while competing against teams from across Queensland.

Junior State Champs - FAQ's

  • Bayside Blaze will be entering teams in the following age divisions:

    🏐 U8s: Players born in 2018 and 2019

    🏐 U10s: Players born in 2016 and 2017

  • Yes. Players will attend a trial where third party graders will assess skills, positions and overall team balance.

    Successful players will then be offered a position within the team.

  • Absolutely. Bayside Blaze welcomes players from all clubs across Brisbane's Bayside and surrounding areas.

  • Trainings will be held at Victoria Point Action Indoor.

    Training nights are expected to be Tuesday evenings, with times to be confirmed once teams are finalised.

  • Final fees have not yet been released, however we expect costs to be approximately $120 per player.

    This will include:
    • Team training sessions
    • Player insurance
    • Entry into the INFQ Junior State Championships

  • The INFQ Junior State Championships will be held during the September school holidays.

  • The INFQ Junior State Championships is a competitive indoor netball competition featuring teams from across Queensland. Games are scored and there will be finals.

    Players should expect a faster pace of play and a more competitive environment than local Saturday netball competitions.

  • Indoor netball is played on full height hoops using a size 5 netball.

    The game is generally faster, with players developing quick decision making, strong ball skills and court awareness.

    Umpiring is typically stricter around stepping, contact and game management than many local junior competitions.

  • As this is a competitive competition, players will generally be played in positions that best suit their strengths and the needs of the team.

    Our coaches aim to provide development opportunities while also ensuring teams remain competitive throughout the tournament.

  • No. Players with experience in either indoor or outdoor netball are welcome to apply.
